当研究室の伴講師の研究成果をまとめた論文（題名：Mitochondrial ROS–ER Stress Axis Governs IL-10 Production in Neutrophils and Regulates Inflammation in Murine Chlamydia pneumoniae Lung Infection）が，Cells誌のオンライン版に掲載されました.

肺炎クラミジア感染時において，白血球の一種である好中球から抗炎症性のサイトカインであるIL-10が産生されることを見出しました．そして，その過程にはTLR-2依存性のミトコンドリア由来活性酸素（MtROS）の産生とそれに続く小胞体ストレス応答が強く関連することを明らかにしたものです．
